Here in Mendip there are weekly walks which leave Glastonbury, Wells, Street, Shepton Mallet and Frome. Glastonbury Health Walks
Join Vicky and Chris for weekly Friday walks meeting at Glastonbury Health Centre, Wells Road. Meet at 10 am for a two boot or three boot walk. Two booters are walks of at least 1 hour in and around Glastonbury using pavement and footpaths. Three booters explore the surrounding countryside, are at least 1.5 hours and may include styles and uneven ground. Check the online programme for walk details. No need to book, just turn up! We are a very sociable group and finish our walks with tea at a Glastonbury Cafe.
Looking for something on the gentler side? Join Chris fortnightly for a one boot walk which leaves from Glastonbury Surgery, Feversham Lane. Meet on alternate Tuesdays at 10 am for a shorter walk on fairly flat routes at an easy pace. Great if you are new to exercice or looking to increase your activity levels gradually.
